The New Theme

Did you notice the new theme? With just one click under ‘Appearance, Theme’ on the Dashboard, this blog moved from the Kublick theme to the Contempt theme.

Sure there are some small snags e.g. some of my graphics have been cut off on the right (I’ve left them like that for demonstration purposes) but it sure beats paying a graphic designer to design a whole new look-and -feel.

NOTE: Because I wanted a two column theme with my own custom header (banner) I had to choose a theme that offered these features. The theme PressRow offers similar features

Themes

When you open your wordpress blog account you will automatically get the default theme called Kubrick.

If however you log in with your username and password to your blog’s dashboard you can change the theme under the menu option called Appearance, Themes.  You can then choose a new theme.

One of the main available themes you can choose from. This one offers three columns with a variable width

Another possible theme. This one allows, among other things, your own customisable header (banner)
